The Mule rack was designed as a rugged aerodynamic gear basket; it's lightweight and comes with an aluminum wind deflector It mounts to most shapes of factory rack's (round, square, rectangular and aerodynamic style) including aftermarket crossbars Yakima's® ,Thule's® and Safari to name a few.We have recently redesigned this work horse to have a lower profile 6" tall vs. 7.25" and we have incorporated two tabs in the back of the rack to mount rear lights.This rack is perfect for adventurers who use small to mid size SUV's.
