1.- Does BajaRack sell products directly?

Yes we do, through our website or by calling us directly at our toll free number 1-888-538-0588 or 760-621-0171.



2.- Will my vehicle fit in my garage with the rack on?

It depends. You can find out how much height a particular rack will add to the roof of your vehicle under the "View Details" section found for each rack.



3.- Which accessory/mount will fit my rack?

BajaRack has made racks of various heights over the years. Measure the Maximum height of your rack (from peak to bottom of the rack – not including mounting brackets) – 5”, 6”, or even 7.25”. The height will correspond to the number of the accessory (ex: BR-HLA5-0 is for a 5” tall rack). If there are no numbers, it is universal across our racks. Please note, there are specific versions for some vehicles, such as Jeep/Defender EXP/UT (3”), LR34, etc. In these cases, the appropriate accessory/mount can be found on the rack model page.



4.- What happens if the box is damaged once I receive the product?

Open the box and make sure there is no damage to the product and that the box of brackets is inside. If everything is acceptable, sign the delivery receipt and write “damaged box”. If you see any unacceptable damage to the rack, simply reject the shipment and notify us immediately so a replacement can be scheduled. We ask that every customer inspect their rack! 5.- How soon will my product ship once I place my order online?

We try to have most products in stock. If your product is not in stock, you will receive an acknowledgment letting you know when your product will ship (usually up to 6 weeks).



6.- Can I pick up my order to save on shipping cost?

Yes - please call us to make sure that we have it in stock and to arrange an appointment. After verifying that we have your part(s) in stock, pick-up is available at our offices 9-4 M-F with 1 hour notice (please call our office 1 hour prior to arrival to allow us to prepare your order and paperwork)Please take into consideration the size of the rack to make sure it will fit in the vehicle you bring to pick up your rack. All of our racks are one-piece construction, and the dimensions can be found under Specifications for each rack.



7.- Does BajaRack do installation?

No, we don’t. However, customers can do the installation in our parking lot. We can lend our tools and lend a hand to lift the rack onto the roof. We can also offer water and a place to wash up!



8.- What are BajaRack roof racks made of?

BajaRack roof racks are made with US-Made, cold-rolled steel tubing for optimum strength-to-weight ratio and increased rust resistance. The wind deflectors are aluminum (not plastic!), and we use stainless steel hardware. For more details, check rack specifications.



9.- Can my online/phone order be cancelled?

Yes, it can be cancelled prior to shipment; if the order already shipped, the customer is responsible for freight both ways.



10.- Can I ship my order to someone else?

Yes, this can be done on our website or just by calling us.



11.- What payment methods do you accept?

On our website we use PayPal; when the order is placed by phone, you can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If you are picking up your order, we accept checks and cash as well.



12.- How do I track my order?

Once the order ships, you will receive a tracking number by e-mail the next day.



13.- Does BajaRack ship internationally?

Yes, except to countries where we have distributors.



14.- Does Bajarack ship to Canada?

Yes, you will need to provide customs information and a NAFTA form in order to ship and be released for delivery.





15.- Can my order be shipped to an APO/FPO address?

No, sorry, it cannot.



16.- Can I cancel my order?

Yes. If you call or email BajaRack before your order ships, we will provide a full refund.



17.- How do I return BajaRack products?

Returns that are not the fault of BajaRack will be charged 10% - not to exceed $100 for unopened product and not to exceed $200 for opened product. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact BajaRack or your place of purchase to obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) prior to sending your product back. BajaRack will not accept damaged or incomplete product. Please feel free to contact BajaRack or place of purchase with any questions. The refund will be made once we receive the product and inspect it; we can send a check, credit card credit or PayPal refund.



18.- My wind deflector is blemished; can it be replaced?

Yes, it can. Several years ago we used a clear coat on our wind deflectors. After a few years, some of them started peeling. We have placed this issue on forums, and if you have this problem please e-mail sales@bajarack.com with pictures and the subject line “Wind deflector replacement and your name.” Please include in the email the rack part number, when and where it was purchased, your current address, and phone number so we can send you a new one at no charge.



19.- I don’t find my vehicle listed under “Fit my vehicle” and it has factory crossbars. Can I still use a universal rack?

Yes. Just give us a call to make sure which rack will fit.



20.- Can I customize my rack?

Please e-mail us to evaluate your request.



21.- Do I need to drill into my vehicle?

No! None of our racks or accesories (including ladders) require drilling Except our rack for the international Ford Ranger pickup.
